Road Trip Tips
Long-distance driving can put undue wear and tear on your car. The following tips will ensure you and your car make it to your destination!
Check fluid levels, including motor oil, radiator fluid, transmission fluid, and windshield wiper fluid.
Check the air filter which keeps dirt and debri from your engine. This will ensure a smoother more stable ride.
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk. The kit should include: first aid supplies, jumper cables, a flashlight, fresh batteries, flares, basic tools, duct tape, gloves, flares and a mobile phone.
Check the pressure and wear and tear on the tires.
Check the headlights, tailights, parking lights and license plate lights and turn signal lights.
Check your wiper blades.
